Transcriptions of interviews with former employees of G. Fox & Co., a Hartford department store, and two grandchildren of Beatrice Fox Auerbach who was store president from 1938 to 1965. Subjects include: recollections of Beatrice Fox Auerbach and G. Fox & Co., Moses Fox Club dinners, changes that occurred after the 1965 sale of G. Fox & Co. to May Department Stores, Inc., changes in Hartford over time, and Eleanor Roosevelt's visits with Beatrice Fox Auerbach.
